At the Innovation Challenge, we bring two projects built on WTGPhLA™, our kimchi-fermented antibacterial active: a broad-spectrum preservation system for Performance and Personalisation, and a fermentation-derived system for Ecological Transition, designed to move formulations away from petroleum-based preservatives. For Ecological Transition, the next step is OECD ready biodegradability and aquatic ecotoxicity studies, shaped with input from the sustainability teams we meet in Paris.
